150+ Toys Collected for Children Who Need Them Most

Through our combined Schenectady and Saugerties holiday toy drives, we collected more than 150 brand new toys for children staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Albany.

The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) provides free housing for families whose children are hospitalized, including many babies and children with HIE and other serious medical conditions. These families are often far from home, living in hospital rooms and temporary housing during some of the most stressful days of their lives.

The toys we collected were delivered directly to RMH to be given to children staying there during the holidays and beyond.

For a child navigating hospital rooms, therapy appointments, and medical uncertainty, a new toy can mean comfort, joy, and a reminder that they are still a kid. For parents, it is one less thing to worry about during an already overwhelming time.
