Rachel is honored to serve on the Hudson Valley HIEroes Board alongside a group of dedicated women. Before the birth of her best friend Katelyn’s daughter, she had never heard of HIE. Witnessing how this diagnosis has shaped their lives, as well as the lives of many families across the Hudson Valley, inspired her to get involved and support the mission however she can.
Although Rachel is no longer working in the field of education, she continues to carry a strong passion for helping others learn and grow. She is grateful for the opportunity to contribute her skills to the organization and is committed to raising awareness about HIE throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond.
